I looked at the flyer on line and a few of the items I decided to buy were priced differently. Another time I will print the pages. However, at least one item was less. A mistake was made on a purchase of the previous day and honored. Gotta say I love our local Hannaford. The staff is fantastic.
Needless to say, I won't be using this bathroom again until they get this situation fixed. I do believe this is an ADA violation and I will be contacting the state disabilities office to see what I should do next.
The "handicapped" stall in this store is the first stall after you enter the bathroom and the door to the stall is so close to the door to the bathroom that they hit each other if they are both open at the same time, which happened to me as I was trying to enter the stall and someone else entered the bathroom at that exact moment. The bathroom door pushed the stall door closed as I was going in and my hand would have been crushed if I hadn't been holding my phone in that hand. My phone took the brunt of the impact and the screen protector was shattered.
Convenient, friendly, always opens another register if lines form. Fruit and vegetables are always fresh. Prices are a little higher than the Bangor Brewer area but the service is excellent.
Wonderful staff! Always clean and well stocked. Just wish they ever had the size diapers or pull ups I needed. The only thing I have to shop elsewhere for.
I'm only rating the men's bathroom at this store and not the rest of the store itself. I've been to several other Hannaford stores in Maine and they are all good grocery stores, so I will assume this one is as well.
The two doors remained open, as the bathroom door caught the stall door on the way back to being shut, and they stayed that way until the other gentleman finished his business and untangled the two doors. I couldn't go to the bathroom myself until this happened.
The stall itself was only slightly larger than a regular stall and my wheelchair would only fit if I put it directly next to the toilet. This took a great amount of maneuvering and I would have given up if I hadn't really needed to go to the bathroom. Once I got the chair all the way into the stall, I had almost no room to maneuver onto the toilet. Thankfully, I can stand without assistance enough that I was able to squeeze between my chair and the toilet and then I only barely had enough room to sit down on the toilet.
Terrific supermarket with friendly, helpful employees! Always a pleasure to shop there!
I am in a wheelchair and I have to say that the men's bathroom at this store is one of the worst ones I've ever used and almost certainly it is in violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act.
